What to Expect:
Once we begin the SSP Core listening sessions, each session will usually have between 15 to 30 minutes of listening combined with body-sensation tracking & check-ins to ground nervous system shifts.
You'll want to wear comfortable clothes that do not constrict your breathing (such as what you would wear to a yoga class) optionally you can bring snacks, hydration, socks so you can take your shoes off & anything else that helps you feel cozy & relaxed. Headphones will be provided when you're at the office.
SSP impacts people in all different ways, so it's difficult to name all the things you may experience or list all possibilities here. Generally, in session you may feel tired, agitated, tense, etc. We pause for tension or drowsiness & anything else that may arise.
Some people prefer to have someone drive them home after sessions. This can be a good option if you live far from the office. Another option is to relax in the office meditation space. You can even bring a blanket & pillow.

@ Home Listening:
Some clients may be a good fit for some at-home listening/online sessions. If this is something you want to have as an option, let me know. You'll need your own headphones (cover your whole ear & cannot be noise-cancelling) & a way to connect them to your client dashboard (app available). You will also need privacy without visual distractions with no on-going background noise (constant traffic sounds, humming appliances, people talking, television, etc.).
Between Sessions:
Between sessions I ask clients to do their best to work with their personalized homework as well as take notes on what they notice in their body, thoughts, emotions, sleep patterns & personal relationships.
After SSP Core:
SSP continues to re-tune your nervous system beyond completing the in-session listening. Many clients notice the biggest changes in the months following completion of Core.
After completing SSP Core, it is not recommended to repeat it unless symptoms return (but, still waiting 6-8 months) or if a new trauma occurs.
Instead of repeating Core, another option is SSP Balance. Balance can be initiated at any time, is self-paced & is referred to as a "state-shifter," because it helps remind the nervous system of Core & can create a quick tune-up or tune-in. Balance is available for a monthly fee of $140 & is for at-home, self-paced use.
